As Prof CHUKWUMA SOLUDO continues his tour of the different LGA, meeting with members of APGA in preparation of the forth coming party primaries coming up on the 23rd of this month, it is notable , the large turnout of members of the party to welcome him all the time in all the LGA he has visited
Today it was the turn of the people of Ekwusigo LGA, who troupes out in mass with all the members of the different ward executives present.
From the TC Chairman, who happen to be the chief host, to all the stakeholders of the LGA, especially people like the Hon Commissioner of Women and Children Affairs, Hon. Mezue, and Sir Jude Emecheta, to many visitors of other local governments who came in solidarity.
Visible also is the presence of members of All Soludo Support Groups ASSG, like WIGA, ADS, SSG, YESS, SST, SSM, SFC, SOLUDO PIONEERS etc.
Hon Chinedu Nwoye who is always on ground attended with a host of SSG national executives. In his short and precise speech, he emphasized that any one who was waiting for primaries, before declaring support for a candidate was not a believer, according to him in the bible, Ruth had said ” if I perish, i perish” he then maintained that it was the resolve of every true supporter. He ended his speech by pointing out that no one that had such posture ever perished.
Other speakers declared total support for Soludo, insisting that he remained the best candidate for the party at this time.
In his response to the overwhelming acceptance, Soludo continued to thank the people, promising them that the expectations of the people would be met. According to him, his desire is to create opportunity for the children of the poor trader in the market to make a better life in the future,
He promised to make APGA the most desirable party in Nigeria within 3Years of his administration. He then appealed to the People of Ekwusigo LGA to transform this physical support into votes at the primaries and indeed the general election coming up in November.
The event, and the turn out of party loyalists was a testament of the love Ndi’Anambra has for Soludo and their wish to see him carry on the job of Anambra governance after Chief Willie Obiano.
