The high chief Dr. Austin Azubuike Ekweozor Ide umuawulu after much consultation and clamoring from the good people of Awka; officially consults the state working committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance party (APGA) at the state secretariat on his intention to represent Awka North and South at the federal house of representatives.
The meeting began with the APGA anthem as a sign of patriotism to the party. The chairman of the state working committee seized the opportunity to commend Ide for seeking the opinion of the state working committee before embarking on this political journey.
Chief Joseph Nwafor the ward chairman introduced Ideas an outstanding, indispensable member of the party who dreams to actualize his great plans for the benefit of the people. He further urged the party to take into consideration Ide’s decision to seek their wise counsel and advice.
The zonal chairman of Awka South Hon. Chikodi Nonyelu JP described Ide as a “very serious-minded stakeholder of APGA who renders support from the wards to the local government”. She emphasized his honest and kindhearted attributes of consistently empowering his constituent monetarily and development-wise.
The High Chief Austin Azubuike humbly took the floor to express that for an effective leap in his political career and due to the people’s agitation to represent them, he decided in all modesty to ask the committee for their advice. He stated to the state working committee his desire to rid the constituency of all corruptible deeds by installing his incorruptible self to a position that can enhance positive change. In his benevolence, he promised to always pay his respect to the committee when their council takes action.
The meeting ended with immense praises directed at the High Chief Austin as all party members and his supporters joined their voices together; harmonizing the party slogans in peace and unity.
