…CALLS FOR TOTAL SUPPORT FOR SOLUDO’S GOVERNORSHIP BID

Prince SN Uchendu, Chinyereugo na Ogboji ( Mayor of Atlanta) has called on the people of his community in Ogboji, Aguata LGA to take full advantage of the on-going INEC continuous voters registration exercise across the country to revalidate their PCV so that they can vote in the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election

Prince SN Uchendu popularly called the “Mayor of Atlanta” made this clarion call during a strategic meeting of All Soludo Support Group (ASSG) Old Aguata Union which he hosted in his abode

During the strategic meeting issues on how to work towards garnering maximum support for Soludo’s governorship project were extensively discussed. Other issues in regards to effective mobilisations and canvassing of the community support were equally discussed

In the course of the discussions, Prince Uchendu harped on the need for the people to come out to rectify any issues relating to their PVCs by taking advantage of the on-going INEC continuous voters registration exercise.

To make the exercise easier and seamlessly coordinated, Prince Uchendu said he has procured an HP Laptop and Printer with free Internet for the community people to register online free-of-charge.

Prince Uchendu added that this was his humble contributions as a citizen of the state towards ensuring the exercise is hitch-free and highly successful within his locality.

These sets of equipment were immediately made available, test run and placed at the disposal of the community people

Mr Akachukwu Solomon Igwebuike the ASSG secretary commended Prince Uchendu for donating the equipment and making it free of charge for the people. He called on parents within the locality to ensure their children who have attained the mandatory voting age of 18 years are encouraged to register. He also advised others living outside the state who would like to transfer their PVC to Anambra State including those whose voters card have been damaged were free to take full advantage of the exercise

The summary of the meeting revolved round how Cee Cee Soludo would emerge governor come November 6, 2021. The meeting also placed emphasis on the need to take the election campaign to all the polling units where a minimum of 21 man Executives shall be set up instead of the usual wards campaign

The meeting was attended by high profile members which include; Hon Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour), Convener Soludo Support Groups(SSG) and the chairman, ASSG; Dr Chukwudi Okoli (MD All Saints Hospital, Umuneze) coordinator ASSG Orumba South,; Dr Leo Ikwueto, coordinator ASSG Orumba North; Chief Joe Anatune, Lead Facilitator Soludo Promoters Forum, (SPF); Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, Deputy Director PPMO; Chief Geoffrey C Umeanuka (Okene Igbo) Ezeohamadike Igbo- Ukwu; Hon Marcel Umeohakwe, zonal coordinator GSP

Other personalities include; Hon Ikechukwu Umenwa (Iyke Russia) former Aguata 1 House of Assembly member; Hon Ikechukwu Umeh a key Stakeholder in OAU, GCG from Idemili; Hon Vincent Okafor (Convener of All lawyers for Soludo); Hon Chijioke Okoli (ASSG Coordinator Aguata); Hon Dozie Akunne

In the meeting were also all the Executives of Ogboji Town Union women wing, Youth Unions, who were charged to take both the campaign and the on-going voters registration exercise to all the nooks and crannies of the community. Other women from different communities who also graced the occasion were also urged to do the same

Her Excellency, Mrs Ifeoma Ekwueme, wife of former vice president Alex Ekwueme gave her blessings via a telephone call from London

Hon Ogechukwu Emmanuel (Chinaemeze Owere Ezukala) gave the closing remarks by thanking the Mayor of Atlanta, Prince Uchendu for being a great host and the people of OAU for their warm reception. He also enjoined all invitees to take the ‘Soludo Solution’ gospel to all the nooks and crannies of every villages and towns

The occasion was beautifully compered by Hon Obinna Nwankwo (Obinna Orumba), the master of ceremony extraordinaire!
