Hon. Charles Odedo, a two term Federal House of Representatives member in the 6th and 7th Assembly said he decided to join APGA with his thousands of Supporters primarily to Support Prof Charles Soludo’s governorship ambition
To achieve this goal, the former APC chieftain said he has set up a Multi- Party Support Group called “Udo ga-achi”
According to him, this Support Group which comprises of all the former members of APC, PDP, YPP and other political parties in Idemili North and South LGAs of Anambra state have switched allegiance to work for Prof Soludo in actualizing his ambition of becoming the next Governor of Anambra State.
Hon. Odedo also stated that Idemili North and South has the highest number of registered voters of over 300,000 and can deliver 100,000 votes to APGA in support of Soludo. He therefore appealed to the APGA leadership and the party delegates to give Soludo the ticket as their flagbearer in the coming governorship election

Soludo told the Supporters that APGA has maintained the legacy of serving the people of Anambra state dutifully for the past years. He said Governor Willie Obiano has further taken that legacy to a higher level with the opening of Anambra Cargo and Passenger Airport, said to have the longest runway in Nigeria, the International Conference Center and the Awka Stadium that is nearing completion including the many road bridges that now adorn the entire state
